A Warm Welcome to Mark Trevethan!

We're thrilled to announce that Mark Trevethan has joined the Memory Matters team as our new Chief Operating Officer. Mark brings a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for our mission and is already proving to be a fantastic asset to our organisation.

With a strong background in both the military and the business world, Mark has honed his leadership and organisational skills over many years. He's a natural problem-solver who can navigate complex challenges with ease. Plus, he's got a knack for making things run smoothly and efficiently, which is exactly what we need to provide the best possible care and support to those living with dementia.

Mark has experienced the challenges that dementia can bring, meeting those affected by dementia and their carers and has seen the impact of the services and support that Memory Matters provides.  We're confident that his empathy and understanding will help us create a more compassionate and supportive environment for everyone involved.

We're also excited about Mark's expertise and a new perspective which we know will improve our services, and help us stay ahead of the curve.

A message from Mark " I have been at MM for two weeks and have been really impressed by the quality and kindness of people that work or volunteer for MM. It is a real strength and something to be proud of.

I would encourage anyone who has any ideas about how we can do things better or things that are not good  to come and speak to me or message me. I  will always have time to listen to you and respond. My door is always open."

I look forward to working with you all.

So, please join us in giving Mark a warm welcome!

We're looking forward to working together to create a brighter future for people living with dementia.
